Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie married recently, during the last summer, in a private ceremony in the south of France and only close family members attended the event. By all accounts, the wedding was a low-key event at the family’s vineyard property Château Miraval planned by the six children of the couple. Knox and Shiloh were ring bearers, Vivienne and Zahara were flower girls, and Pax made the cake and walked Jolie down the aisle. The children assisted with the marital vows. The drawings of the kids adorned even the Versace wedding gown of Jolie. However, few days ago, in a recent interview, the actress admitted that she married Pitt long before the French wedding. She said to the Italian magazine Io Donna that before the wedding in France, she and Brad were already married in California.

They could not marry legally in France because they are Americans. The actress said somehow that the first wedding of the couple was just as relaxed as the French follow-up. She just called her husband-to-be and asked him to meet at the afternoon. She called a justice of the peace and they both signed the documents. The celebrity told Vanity Fair in the December cover story of the magazine that it feels nice to be husband and wife. According to her, in the marital vows, their children did not expect them never to fight but they made them promise to say always ‘sorry’ when they argue.
